We support a sustainable lifestyle
At HTH, we craft kitchens that endure. To achieve this, we continuously stay abreast of evolving trends, ensuring our products not only cater to current demands but anticipate future needs as well. Sustainability, therefore, is woven into the very fabric of our design and product development philosophy.
Sustainability
Sustainable product development
In our product development process, we employ a sustainability scorecard to gauge materials and design, and to determine how a product aligns with our sustainability objectives. Through this method, we identify solutions that minimize the climate and environmental footprint of our products across their lifespan.
Sustainability
HTH is used in construction projects carrying the Nordic Swan ecolabel
All cabinets and fronts from HTH are crafted from materials that align with the standards set for Swan-labelled buildings. Many of our products proudly bear the Swan label, and we're continually expanding this range to include both fronts and worktops. Beyond this, our products can significantly enhance sustainable construction projects aiming for DGNB certification.
Sustainability
Offering the most energy-efficient appliances
At HTH, our objective is to provide the most energy-efficient appliances, aiding our customers in cutting down both their energy usage and carbon footprint. Appliances rank among the top energy-consuming products within a household. Through our CO2 assessment across our value chain, we've identified that the operation of appliances represents one of the stages with the most significant carbon impact.
Sustainability
Ergonomic and safe products
Safety and ergonomics are at the forefront of our product development at HTH. Before advancing to the production stage, every new product is subjected to rigorous testing, both in-house and by certified testing institutions in line with EU standards.
Our areas of focus
HTH works with sustainability across several focus areas, each encompassing a range of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
