FSC and indoor climate labelling

Sustainability

Worktops with consideration for the environment

We prioritize the well-being of both the environment and communities in all our actions. As a testament to this commitment, our selected solid wood worktops carry the FSC® certification. This ensures they are sourced from sustainably managed forests, where the protection of flora, fauna, and the rights of local communities are upheld.

Sustainability

FSC® for the future

FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) is an international certification scheme for responsibly produced wood. This means that in an FSC®-certified forest, considerations are made for endangered animals, plants, and the people who depend on the forest. Local forestry workers are trained, provided with safety equipment, and receive a fair wage they can live on.

Sustainability

Guarantee with broad support

FSC® is a global non-profit labelling scheme backed by green organisations such as the WWF, Greenpeace and Forests of the World. Social organisations and businesses around the world also support the work of the FSC®.

Indoor climate is important for health and wellbeing

HTH is committed to promoting a healthy indoor environment. Consequently, a significant portion of HTH’s kitchen line boasts the Danish Indoor Climate label. This label enforces standards for materials in their usage phase, emphasizing the control of substances released indoors. It serves as a guarantee that all materials in our kitchens undergo rigorous testing for emissions and odors, ensuring they don't cause irritations.

Indoor Climate label is backed
by the Danish Technological Institute

The Danish Indoor Climate label is a voluntary certification for construction products, fixtures, and furniture, overseen by the Danish Technological Institute. Independent experts in third-party laboratories carry out all testing, ensuring objectivity. This label provides the strongest assurance of fostering a healthy indoor environment in your home.
